Motobrix started as a way for me to bring my passions interests and talents together under one roof. With a diverse set of experiences, first as a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, then as a Biomedical Device Researcher at Sunnybrook Hospital; I later shifted gears and decided to focus on my passion for metal work, starting my own metal shop in 2016. Now I operate my business under the name Root 2 Engineering, offering fabrication services focused on custom architectural metalwork. Motobrix lives on as the custom motorcycle division of Root 2.

We’re fully booked for 2023, and are busy completing the last batch of BMW R-series customs. But, we like to think BIG! Which is why we’ve decided to focus on large innovative and unique projects for the future. Examples include but are not limited to: electric motors, intricate all-metal fairings, turbocharging, etc. If you have an idea for something different and interesting, please contact us at brian@motobrix.com.
